As a result of a recent drone attack on an oil depot in the Tula region of Russia, at least one tank containing fuel and lubricants was damaged.
This was reported by "Radio Free Europe". The publication has released recent satellite images that capture the aftermath of the drone strikes conducted by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on the night of January 18.
"As seen in the photo taken on January 21, at least one tank with fuel and lubricants at the 'March 8' plant of Rosrezerv in the village of Delilovo was damaged as a result of the strike," the report states.
It is noted that the governor of the Tula region of the Russian Federation also mentioned that a tank with fuel and lubricants caught fire due to the attack at one of the facilities in the area.
Drone Attacks in Russia
On the night of January 21, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck several key Russian targets. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the oil depot in the Voronezh region, an aircraft factory in Smolensk, and a command post of the Russian Federation in the occupied part of Donetsk region were hit.
Notably, the oil depot "Liskinskaya" in the Voronezh region of the Russian Federation was hit twice in recent days. The previous attack occurred on the night of January 16, carried out by special operations forces in coordination with other components of the Defense Forces.
