The newly elected President of the United States, Donald Trump, aims to pursue a fair and sustainable peace in Ukraine. This was stated by General Keith Kellogg in a comment to the Fox channel, who is set to become the U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine in the new administration.

"The President is very, very consistent in what he wants, which is to stop the killings and bring peace to the region. This is the main priority of his international policy. But he wants a peace that is fair. It will be sustainable. It will be safe," Kellogg assured.

Kellogg also pointed out that previous attempts to achieve a sustainable peace in Ukraine, known as the Minsk process, "have failed spectacularly."

"He understands the importance of the relationships he has with allies, as well as with Vladimir Putin. And he is the person who can see this through, and I truly believe that he will do it in the relatively near future," Kellogg emphasized.
