The Netherlands has supplied the Ukrainian army with three launchers of the American Patriot air defense missile system. These systems aid in protecting Ukraine's skies from Russian shelling.

This was announced by Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brinkman on the microblogging platform X, where he shared photos of the aid's transportation, emphasizing that halting Russian aggression remains a shared interest for both countries:

"Ukrainians are facing a harsh winter as devastating airstrikes continue. That is why we have provided three Patriot launchers. This saves lives and protects critical infrastructure."

Assistance from the Netherlands

As is well known, Amsterdam is part of a group of countries that are supplying Ukrainian aviation with F-16 fighter jets. Furthermore, they do not impose restrictions on the use of these "birds" on the territory of the Russian Federation.

Recently, Defense Minister Ruben Brinkman announced that they would allocate 400 million euros for the joint development of advanced unmanned aerial vehicles with Ukraine.
