On the evening of Tuesday, January 28, Russian invading forces launched a missile strike on Mykolaiv. According to the latest reports, two people have died.
At 8:36 PM, the city's mayor, Oleksandr Senkevych, posted on his Telegram channel about a hit on one of the private enterprises. Shortly before this, the Air Forces had warned of a ballistic threat to the Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions.
Later, the head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration, Vitaliy Kim, reported on Telegram that as a result of the Russian missile strike on Mykolaiv, two female workers of the enterprise were killed:
"Russia is a terrorist state."
Updated at 00:00: The State Emergency Service clarified that the target was a food industry enterprise. Rescuers retrieved the bodies of women aged 54 and 56 from the rubble. The workshop building was partially destroyed, and the administrative building of the enterprise was also damaged.
