The occupying forces of the Russian Federation have made new advances on the front, reports the Ukrainian analytical project DeepState.

According to an update published on Telegram, the invaders have occupied Velyka Novosilka and have also advanced near Pyschany, Nadiivka, Andriivka, and Baranivka. This information has not been confirmed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

At the same time, analysts noted that the intensity of Russia's assault actions is beginning to decline, although it remains at a high level. The peak of Russian attacks was recorded in the second half of December, followed by a relative decrease:

"Since the end of November, there have been attempts to maintain a high intensity of attacks, which was interrupted only after the New Year. The enemy is suffering significant losses, but this does not prevent them from relatively quickly restoring the combat strength of their units."

Fighting for Velyka Novosilka

On January 24, DeepState reported that soldiers of the invading Russian army are already in the center of the settlement, but do not fully control it.

On Monday, the operational-strategic grouping of troops "Khortytsia" stated that the occupiers have taken significant parts of Velyka Novosilka. Ukrainian fighters were positioned near its outskirts.
