Next week, a meeting involving representatives from the USA, Russia, and Ukraine is scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia. This announcement was made by the President of the United States, Donald Trump.
The American leader also reiterated the possibility of a meeting among representatives from the USA, Ukraine, and Russia on February 14 in Munich. However, advisor to President Volodymyr Zelensky, Dmytro Litvin, denies such plans.
"There will be a meeting tomorrow in Munich, and next week in Saudi Arabia. Not with my participation or Putin's, but with top officials. Ukraine will participate in both meetings. We will see if we can put an end to this war," Trump stated.
It is worth noting that the American president previously mentioned intentions to meet with the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in Saudi Arabia.
Trump's Statement about the Munich Meeting
The President of the United States announced that on Friday, February 14, in Munich, where a security conference will take place, representatives from the USA, Russia, and Ukraine will meet.
"We have a meeting tomorrow in Munich (with Russia). Russia will be there with our people. Ukraine is also invited. I don't know exactly who will represent which country. But these are high-ranking officials from Russia, Ukraine, and the USA," said the American president.
Advisor to President Volodymyr Zelensky, Dmytro Litvin, disputed this information. He noted that no discussions with the Russians are anticipated in Munich.
According to Litvin, a meeting in the Ukraine-USA format should take place first, followed by joint coordination of positions involving Europe.
