January 26-27 will be the warmest days in the near future, but temperatures reaching +20 degrees are not expected. This was stated by Natalia Ptuha, a meteorologist from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, in a comment to Weather UNIAN, responding to a question about whether a warm-up to +20 degrees is indeed anticipated at the end of the month.

The meteorologist explained that the current week will be quite calm. Today will be precipitation-free, while on Wednesday night, there will be some rain in Transcarpathia, and during the day on the right bank, as well as on Thursday and Friday, light rain and wet snow will occur in various regions of Ukraine.

"As for the temperature, in the coming days, it will generally range from +2° to -4° at night, and during the day from 0° to +5°. In the extreme south of the country and in Prykarpattia, it may reach up to +9°," Ptuha noted.

The coolest days will be January 22 and 23. "In the eastern regions and in the Carpathians, temperatures will hover around 0 degrees," she added.

Looking ahead, the expert mentioned a trend towards rising temperatures. "By the end of this week, and consequently over the weekend and the beginning of next week, particularly Monday will stand out, as nighttime temperatures will rise to +4° and only drop to around -2° in certain areas. Daytime temperatures will range from +1° to +7°. In the southern part of Ukraine, it could reach up to +10°," Ptuha stated.

On January 24, temperatures in the northeast and the Carpathians will be around 0° to -5° at night, while during the day, they will range from -2° to +3°.

"So we are not talking about +20° just yet. However, based on the current trend, the warmest days will indeed be the 26th and 27th," the meteorologist said.
