By the end of this week, the temperature in Ukraine is expected to rise. In some areas, the air will warm up to +7°. However, this warming may be accompanied by light precipitation and increased winds in certain regions. This is indicated by the forecast from meteorologist Igor Kibalchich.
Weather on January 16
On Thursday, according to Kibalchich, light snow is possible in parts of the western region of the country, as well as in the far east. There may be icy conditions on the roads. Wind speeds will range from 5 to 10 m/s, while in the Carpathians and Transcarpathia, it will be 1 to 6 m/s. Nighttime temperatures are expected to be between 0...-5 °C, and in the Carpathians, -5...-10 °C; during the day, temperatures will range from -1...+4 °C.
Weather on January 17
Before the weekend, warm weather without significant precipitation is expected in Ukraine, with light snow transitioning to rain and drizzle in the eastern part of the country, along with possible light icy conditions. Winds will strengthen to 7 - 12 m/s, with gusts reaching 15 - 17 m/s in some areas during the day. Nighttime temperatures will be -4...+1 °C, and during the day, it will warm up to +2...+7 °C, while in the Carpathians, temperatures will be around 0 °C.
Weather on January 18
On Saturday, according to Kibalchich, weather in Ukraine is expected to be without significant precipitation, with light wet snow and possibly rain occurring in the northern and northeastern regions during the day and evening. Wind speeds will increase to 9 - 14 m/s, while in Transcarpathia, it will be weak at 1 - 6 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will range from -2...+3 °C, and during the day, temperatures will warm up to +2...+7 °C.

At the end of the week, light precipitation in the form of wet snow and rain is expected in most regions, except for the western part. Fog and light wet snow accumulation may occur in some areas. Winds will be 7 - 12 m/s. At night, thermometers will show -3...+2 °C, while daytime temperatures will be -1...+4 °C.
Warming in Ukraine
Meteorologist Natalia Didenko also indicates that a warming trend is expected in Ukraine. According to her data, nighttime temperatures will rise slightly in the near future, while daytime temperatures will remain around zero.
Moreover, by the end of the week, "plus" temperatures are already anticipated. "From January 19, daytime temperatures will rise to +3...+7 degrees," the weather expert reported.
