The Ministry of Justice has announced the resumption of all major services of the Unified State Register (USR) portal following a large-scale cyberattack from the Russian Federation.
This was reported by the press service of the ministry. It is noted that the portal now offers:
- free information searches in the register;
- the ability to generate extracts;
- access to results of administrative services via access codes;
- government agencies' access to information from the register through access identifiers.
"Specialists from the State Enterprise 'National Information Systems' are working together with the Cyber Department of the Security Service of Ukraine, the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection, and the Cyber Police to enhance the protection of the registers to ensure stable service operation for you," the statement reads.
Cyberattack on State Registers - Latest News
On December 19, the most extensive external cyberattack on state registers in recent times occurred, reported Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olga Stefanishyna. As a result of the attack, the operations of the Unified and State Registers under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine were temporarily suspended.
Yesterday, January 9, the operations of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs, and Public Organizations (USR) were resumed.
