City residents have organized a petition drive
The residents of the capital are urging the relevant economic and law enforcement authorities of the city to stop financial support for the "Kyivmiskbud Holding Company" and hold accountable those responsible for its condition.
A corresponding petition on this matter has been posted on the Kyiv City Council's website.
“Do not finance the corrupt monster ‘Kyivmiskbud’ with taxpayer money. Ensure criminal prosecution of the leaders who have driven the company to bankruptcy,” the authors of the initiative urge.
We remind you, on October 31 of last year, the Kyiv City Council approved a recapitalization of “Kyivmiskbud” for over 2.5 billion hryvnias. This measure is intended to at least partially revive the largest capital construction company, whose capital has regularly disappeared into unknown directions over the past years. Currently, “Kyivmiskbud” has more than 20 unfinished projects across all districts of the capital – about 40,000 Kyiv families are unable to receive the housing they have already paid for.
