Joe Biden has made significant contributions to Ukraine
Residents of the capital are urging the city authorities to name one of the streets in Kyiv after the 46th President of the United States, Joseph Biden, in recognition of his substantial personal contribution to supporting Ukraine's independence, its democratic development, and the protection of our nation's sovereignty.
A corresponding petition regarding this matter has been posted on the Kyiv City Council's website.
As the authors of the initiative explain, under Biden's leadership, the United States provided considerable support to Ukraine, particularly in crucial areas such as military and financial assistance, sanctions against Russia, and promoting reforms and democratic initiatives within our country.
Thus, the residents of Kyiv emphasize that naming a street in the capital after Joseph Biden would be a fitting tribute to his personal contributions to the defense of Ukraine and the strengthening of international democratic solidarity.
It is worth noting that earlier, residents of Kyiv called on the city authorities to consider naming one of the streets in Kyiv after the famous American science fiction writer Robert Sheckley.
