On the outskirts of the city the old stadium is falling into disrepair
Residents of the capital are urging the city authorities to carry out a major renovation of the "Dobro" stadium located at 30-A Boryspilska Street.
A relevant petition regarding this matter has been posted on the Kyiv City Council's website.
Specifically, the authors of the initiative are requesting city officials to create paths around the stadium for safe running, walking, and cycling, update the field's surface for comfortable football play, install a fence, and provide security for the sports facility, among other things.
In short, the signatories emphasize that the city authorities need to create suitable conditions for residents and guests of the neighborhood to comfortably enjoy the stadium for active recreation and promote a healthy lifestyle.
It should be noted that last year in Kyiv, the director of a construction company was exposed for embezzling nearly 3 million hryvnias intended for the renovation of a stadium in the Darnytskyi district.
