The monopolist creates artificial conditions for charging excess fees
Residents of the capital are urging the city authorities to require the municipal enterprise "Kyivteploenergo" to create chatbots on social platforms to accept hot water meter readings from consumers.
A relevant petition regarding this matter has been posted on the Kyiv City Council's website.
As the authors of the initiative explain, thousands of consumers of hot water services in the capital face the issue of submitting readings to the monopolist "Kyivteploenergo" every month. At the same time, residents complain that the company offers two ways to submit hot water meter readings: through the consumer's account on the website and by calling the "hotline" number.
As practice shows, recipients of the services emphasize, neither method works properly. Instead, this allows the monopolist company to charge debts that do not correspond to the actual meter readings of consumed services. This issue is particularly relevant for consumers using electric boilers.
It should be noted that residents have called on the city authorities to create a system for passengers to track the movement and arrival of route taxis at the desired stop in real-time, similar to what is done with public transport.
