A group will be established in the city to verify the use of taxpayers' money
In Kyiv, shadow schemes for the illegal distribution of budget funds continue to operate. A special working group is planned to be created for conducting audits.
This was announced on the social media page by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Timur Tkachенко.
“Shadow schemes persist in the capital, causing the city to lose revenue,” wrote the head of the KMSA.
According to him, to prevent such issues from arising and to ensure that budget funds are spent transparently and for their intended purposes, he has initiated the establishment of a working group called “Transparency and Accountability.”
“Unfortunately, using formal grounds, the mayor's team is delaying its creation. Despite the opposition, we will establish this group very soon,” assured Timur Tkachенко.
Recall that the deputies of the Kyiv City Council decided not to consider the draft decision “On certain measures for the preservation of buildings and structures that are over 100 years old” at the plenary session on January 30.
