After the introduction of a new traffic scheme at the Central Railway Station in Kyiv, many car owners have been left wondering: where can they now park their vehicles without hassle and extra costs?
The latest episode of the YouTube project "In the Shadow of the Chestnut" may help provide an answer to this question to some extent.
As the journalists note, to assist drivers in figuring out where to leave their cars while they see off their friends or family at the train station, "Passengers of Kyiv" has created a parking map. This map includes both paid and free parking options for certain durations, such as on weekends. After the traffic organization was implemented in the area around the Central Station, there are now fewer parking spaces than there used to be.
“It has been almost a month now, and so far there have been no critical situations. Thus, we can conclude that the scheme is indeed working,” the media representatives shared their impressions.
