Tomorrow, November 1, the speed limit will change on certain roads in the capital
According to the decisions made by the Kyiv City Council, the speed limit for vehicles will be reduced from 80 km/h to 50 km/h on eight road sections.
The list includes: Mykola Bazhan Avenue (from the Southern Bridge to Kharkiv Square), Roman Shukhevych Avenue (from the Northern Bridge to Honoré de Balzac Street), Stepan Bandera Street (from Obolonsky Avenue to the Northern Bridge), Naberezhno-Rybalska Street (from the Havan Bridge to Electricians Street); Nadnipryansky Highway, Naberezhne Highway (from Postal Square to Nadnipryansky Highway), Stolichne Highway (up to Akademika Zabolotny Street), and the R-69 road (from Ozernaya Street to the Kyiv border).
The complexes for automatic detection of traffic rule violations on the city streets will be reconfigured to the currently permitted speed, informs Kyiv Police.
