Центр «Дивосвіт» на Оболони снова выставлен на продаж с молотка в четвертый раз.

The state bank "Ukreximbank" has put up  for sale the building of the family leisure center "Divosvit" located in  the Obolon district of the capital

This information is reported on the page of the auction OpenMarket–SETAM.

The sale will be conducted through the open electronic trading system SETAM. The starting price of the lot is 202 million 887 thousand 94 hryvnias. The auction date is set for February 3, 2025.

The shopping center building, located at Heroes of the Azov Regiment Street, 24/10, building A, is adorned with sculptures of four camels on its roof, which, according to the post, add a unique charm to this property.

The lot consists of administrative, retail, and auxiliary premises, dining areas, and a fitness center. The total area is 7,317.00 sq.m.

In 2008, this project was awarded the National Prize in the field of architecture.

As is known, the shopping center "Divosvit" was opened in 2006, but officially put into operation only in 2013. The center has five floors. Previously, it featured exhibitions and attractions that transported children to different historical eras.

On the second floor, there was a pottery wheel where visitors could mold a pot or plate from clay, bake it, and take it home as a souvenir. There were laser weapon hunts for dinosaurs and pterodactyls. At the attraction "Golden Mine", visitors could wash sand from the attraction in water and find minerals. A 4D cinema and a concert venue were also available for guests.

Today, "Divosvit" is no longer used for its intended purpose. Due to unprofitability, the entertainment center was reclassified as a business center, with its spaces rented out.

As reported by the Ukrainian Council of Shopping Centers, the owner of "Divosvit" was a debtor of "Ukreximbank." The company owed approximately 200 million hryvnias, after which the bank took possession of the property and attempted to sell it in 2020.

In 2022, the entertainment center was put up for sale for the second time, at a similar price, and later for the third time. This will now be the fourth attempt to sell the shopping center "Divosvit."
