The state postal operator is also launching a courier delivery project
“Ukrposhta” will add courier and parcel locker delivery to its list of services.
This was announced by the CEO of “Ukrposhta,” Ihor Smiliansky, at the “CEO Summit,” as reported by OBOZ.UA.
The first parcel lockers and couriers from the state postal operator are expected to appear in Kyiv as early as December. If the project proves successful, these services will be available across the rest of Ukraine next year.
According to Smiliansky, the role of couriers will be performed by mail carriers, who can be recognized by their branded yellow backpacks. The couriers will also be responsible for maintaining and refilling the parcel lockers.
