World Championships 2025: Women's Relay. Here’s a recap of the event and how it unfolded.
On Saturday, February 22, as part of the 2025 Biathlon World Championship, the women's relay will take place in Lenzerheide, Switzerland.

Ukraine will be represented in the race by Khrystyna Dmytrenko, Yuliia Dyma, Olena Horodna, and Anastasiia Merkushyna, competing under number 8. A total of 22 teams are listed on the starting sheet.
The women's relay will commence at 13:05 Kyiv time. "Champion" will provide a text broadcast of the race.

14:09. Norwegian Kirkeide is in second place for the final lap, while Swedish Elvira Eberg is chasing for bronze.

13:57. Olena Horodna passes the baton to Anastasiia Merkushyna in 10th place, +2:41.9.
13:55. Last baton exchange: France first, Slovenia second (+1:19.9), Sweden third (+1:22.1).
13:53. Horodna has used two spare rounds. 9th place, +2:24.0.
13:50. Sixth shooting: Justine Bresa-Bushe used only one extra round and comes out with a very comfortable lead before the baton exchange!
13:46. Olena Horodna used two spare rounds. The Ukrainian climbed to 10th place, +1:36.5.
13:44. Fifth shooting: Frenchwoman Bresa-Bushe shot cleanly, Slovenian Klemenchich also without misses.
13:41. In the third leg, Ukraine is represented by Olena Horodna.
13:40. Ukraine is 12th at the halfway point of the race, +1:51.8.
13:38. Second baton exchange: France first, Slovenia second (+46.6), Slovakia third (+1:02.8).
13:35. Norwegian Ingrid Tandrevold ran an extra 150 meters. The Scandinavian exited the penalty loop 12 seconds behind Dyma.
13:34. Yuliia Dyma shot six rounds. She enters the baton exchange in 10th place, +1:36.0.
13:33. Fourth shooting: Michlon missed once but closed the target with the first spare round. France remains in first place.
13:29. Meanwhile, unexpectedly in second place is the speedy Slovenian Annamaria Lampic, who managed to shoot well from the prone position.
13:28. Dyma shot six clean. Yuliia is in 7th place, +1:06.9.
13:27. Third shooting: Frenchwoman Michlon shot cleanly. The competitors are only approaching the shooting range.
13:22. Khrystyna Dmytrenko passed the baton to Yuliia Dyma in 9th place, +55.5.
13:21. First baton exchange: France first, Norway second (+32.0), Sweden third (+44.2).
13:19. Jeanmonno is breaking away from all competitors!
13:17. Khrystyna Dmytrenko shot excellently from the standing position! The Ukrainian climbed to 6th place, +39.3!
13:16. Second shooting: Jeanmonno shot perfectly again! Knotten also clean! The Norwegian heads into the third lap with a 17.7 second deficit!
13:14. At the 3.4 km checkpoint, Jeanmonno had a 20.4 second advantage over the nearest pursuer, Norwegian Caroline Knotten.
13:11. Khrystyna Dmytrenko was on the edge of the penalty loop but managed to hit the last target with her third spare round. The Ukrainian is in 16th place, +33.1.
13:10. First shooting: Jeanmonno shot cleanly and comes out as the leader for the second lap.
13:07. The first checkpoint was passed by Ukrainian Khrystyna Dmytrenko in 11th place, +12.3 behind Frenchwoman Lou Jeanmonno.

The 2025 Biathlon World Championship will continue until February 23 inclusive. During the competition, 12 sets of medals will be contested.
