This was the best result for a Ukrainian athlete in the current season. The top three finishers were the French athletes Quentin Fillon Maillet, Fabien Claude, and Emilien Jacquelin.

In the pursuit race scheduled for January 11, Pidruchnyi will start in fourth place, with a time deficit of 28.8 seconds from the leader.

Currently, Dmytro Pidruchnyi is in 17th place in the overall standings of the World Cup, which is the highest rank among Ukrainian biathletes.
