Rupolding: Women's Relay. Here's how it unfolded.

On Friday, January 17, as part of the fifth stage of the Biathlon World Cup, a women's relay will take place in Ruhpolding, Germany.

Ukraine will be represented in the race by Olena Horodna, Yuliya Dzhima, Iryna Petrenko, and Khrystyna Dmytrenko, competing under number 9. A total of 20 teams are listed on the starting sheet.

The women's relay will begin at 15:20 Kyiv time. "Champion" will provide a text broadcast of the race.

16:27. Finish: Germany first, Norway second, France third.
16:24. Khrystyna Dmytrenko shot cleanly! The Ukrainian gains three places and finishes the last lap in tenth!
16:23. The Norwegian Femsteinevik used two spare rounds at the last shooting, while Julia Simon shot clean! They are battling for silver and bronze on the last lap, Simon is trailing by just over five seconds!
16:22. Last shooting: Franziska Preuss is shooting perfectly! Germany is set to win this race as their competitors face difficulties!
16:19. Ukrainian Dmytrenko hit all six targets. She remains in 13th place, but the gap to the leader has increased to 2:21.0.
16:17. Seventh shooting: German Preuss shot cleanly and takes the lead.
16:14. Khrystyna Dmytrenko will be the finisher for the Ukrainian team.
16:13. Ukraine is in 13th place, +1:57.5.
16:11. Last handoff: Sweden first, Norway second (+0.2), Germany third (+0.7).
16:07. Petrenko used one spare round.
16:06. Sixth shooting: German Schneider shot clean, while Finnish Leinamo had two penalty laps.
16:01. Petrenko shot cleanly. 13th place, +1:25.5 behind the Finn.
16:00. Fifth shooting: Norwegian Kirkede and Finnish Leinamo hit six targets, while German Schneider used two spare rounds.
15:55. Yuliya Dzhima hands over the relay to Iryna Petrenko in 14th place, +1:18.5.
15:54. Second handoff: Finland first, Germany second (+0.3), Norway third (+6.5).
15:52. Finnish Minkin has overtaken her opponents and is trying to lead her team to first place at the halfway point of the race!
15:49. Yuliya Dzhima shoots quickly and cleanly! The Ukrainian climbs to 12th place, cutting the gap to 56.3 seconds.
15:48. Fourth shooting: Arneklaiv hit six targets; Swedish Halvarsson was on the verge of a penalty lap but closed all targets with eight shots.
15:44. Dzhima hit all targets with six shots. The Ukrainian remains in 13th place, with a gap of over a minute from the leader.
15:43. Third shooting: Norwegian Arneklaiv shot cleanly and retains the first position. The gap to the closest pursuers has increased to 14 seconds.
15:38. Ukraine is in 13th place after the first handoff, +43.1. Olena Horodna is replaced by Yuliya Dzhima on the course.
15:37. First handoff: Norway first, Sweden second (+0.3), Poland third (+0.8).
15:32. Second shooting: Horodna used three spare rounds. The Ukrainian leaves the shooting range in 13th place, +27.8 behind Magnusson.
15:29. Horodna is losing pace to her competitors.
15:26. First shooting: Horodna shot cleanly and is in sixth place on the second lap, +6.4 behind Swedish Magnusson.
15:23. Horodna is in eighth place, +3.0 behind French Bote.
15:21. Olena Horodna represents Ukraine in the first stage.
