Ruhrpolding: Women's mass start. Here's how it unfolded.
On Sunday, January 19th, the fifth stage of the Biathlon World Cup in the German town of Ruhpolding will conclude with the women's mass start event.

Ukraine will be represented by one biathlete in the race – Yuliya Dzhima. A total of 30 athletes are listed on the start sheet.
The women's mass start is scheduled to begin at 16:00 Kyiv time. "Champion" will provide a text broadcast of the race.

16:25. Wierer, Elvira Eberg, and Jeanmonnot arrive at the last shooting range simultaneously.
16:21. The Ukrainian Dzhima is shooting clean! Yuliya is now 25th, +1:47.8 from Wierer.
16:20. Third shooting: Jeanmonnot, Elvira Eberg, and Dorothea Wierer hit all targets! However, the Italian did it the fastest! She takes the lead!
16:18. A new leader at the 6.8 km mark! Frenchwoman Lou Jeanmonnot overtakes Swedish Elvira Eberg!
16:14. Yuliya Dzhima shot clean this time. The Ukrainian is only in 28th position at the halfway point of the race, +1:23.1 from the leader.
16:13. Second shooting: Hanna Eberg goes for two penalty laps, Preuss has one miss, and Elvira Eberg shoots cleanly to regain the lead!
16:07. The lead after the first shooting is taken by Swedish Hanna Eberg, who is two seconds ahead of German Franziska Preuss.
16:06. First shooting: Dzhima misses twice in the prone position and heads for a penalty lap.
16:03. The first checkpoint at 1.2 km sees Ukrainian Yuliya Dzhima in 23rd place, +7.3 from Swedish Elvira Eberg.
