Coach of the Ukrainian men's team: There will be no substitutions before Rupholding.

On Wednesday, January 15, the fifth stage of the Biathlon World Cup will kick off in Rupolding, Germany. With nearly half of the season completed and four stages already behind us, the World Championship is just a month away, set to begin on February 12 and taking place in Lenzerheide, Switzerland, in 2025.

"Champion" asked to summarize the first part of the season with the head coach of the men's national team, Nadiya Belova. Additionally, she was requested to share whether there are plans for changes in the team's lineup in the near future:

The coach points out that due to the quota of four athletes, she is forced to make decisions about who will be given the opportunity to compete in the World Cup races.

According to Belova, at the European Championship 2025, which will take place from January 29 to February 2 in Martello, Italy, the Ukrainian team will compete with its main lineup, despite the fact that most teams are sending reserves to this tournament.

Recall that the World Cup stage in Ruhpolding will be held from January 15 to 19. The program includes individual races, relays, and mass starts.
