In Moldova, a passenger bus traveling from Kyiv to Chișinău crashed, resulting in injuries to two passengers.

The accident occurred on the highway near the village of Peresecina in the Orhei district. The first to report the incident was a passenger on the bus. According to her, the driver fell asleep at the wheel and lost control, causing the bus to veer off the road.

Subsequently, the police confirmed the occurrence of the accident. "According to preliminary information, the driver, born in 1956, who was operating the bus on the Kyiv - Chișinău route, which was traveling from Bălți to Chișinău, lost control under unknown circumstances," the police stated. The bus veered off the road and crashed into a metal barrier and a traffic sign. As a result of the incident, two passengers, a man and a woman, were injured and taken to the hospital.
