In Poltava region, where the debris from the Russian missile strike on a residential building is still being cleared, an earthquake occurred. This was reported by the State Emergency Service.
"At 18:21, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.67 occurred between Poltava and Reshetilivka. The tremors were recorded at a depth of 3 km," the message states.
According to preliminary information, there are no negative consequences, and there have been no reports to the State Emergency Service.
According to the classification of earthquakes, a magnitude of 3.67 on the Richter scale falls into the category of strongly felt tremors. Indeed, even before the official confirmation from the State Emergency Service regarding the earthquake in Poltava region, local media reported on it.

The epicenter was located near the village of Lomachyntsi in the Dnistrovskyi district of Chernivtsi region.
Additionally, on October 8, an earthquake occurred in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Tremors with a magnitude of 3.3 were recorded in the Kryvyi Rih district of the region.
