In Volyn, a car ran over a woman lying on the road on New Year's Eve
A BMW vehicle struck a 46-year-old woman who was lying on the roadway in Volyn late in the evening on December 31 at 10:00 PM. The victim died at the scene of the accident.
This information was reported by the authorities of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Volyn on Wednesday, January 1.
"The 36-year-old driver of the BMW hit the woman, who was reportedly lying on the road... She died at the scene. The identity of the deceased has been established - she was a 46-year-old local resident," - stated the police.
The driver was sober. The police have entered the details into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations under Part 2 of Article.
