Police conducted 600 searches across Ukraine and announced over 60 suspicions against organizers and participants involved in illegal transportation of individuals across the state border.
According to the National Police's report, in just one day, police dismantled nearly fifty schemes for the illegal crossing of borders by men of conscription age in 22 regions of the country. "During the searches, officers seized lists of transported individuals from 2024, forged documents and seals from various state agencies, weapons, hidden accounting records, and cash in various currencies," the National Police stated.
They detailed that among the identified transactions were crossings outside of checkpoint areas, falsification of health condition documents, fictitious entries in the "Shlyakh" information system, and more.
The National Police noted that among those implicated are hospital directors of various levels, officials from the Military Commissariat, medical and military expert commissions, as well as civilians who searched for potential "clients" through acquaintances and closed Telegram channels.
"Those wishing to avoid conscription paid between $5,000 to $22,000 for their 'services.' The money was legalized by the suspects through purchasing cars and real estate, and in some cases, transferred to offshore accounts," police elaborated.

Smuggling Conscription Evaders Abroad
Amid the mobilization in Ukraine, individuals engaged in the illegal transportation of conscription-age men across the border have become more active. Border guards continuously report that they are apprehending lone men who intended to cross the border, or only their bodies - many men have already died in the mountains or drowned in the Tisza River.
They are also catching smugglers during the illegal transportation of military conscripts through various routes.
