A drunk driver in a "Zhiguli" caused a three-car accident in front of a bridge in Mykolaiv.

On Saturday, February 8, during the day, vehicles including a VAZ 2106 "Zhiguli", a Volkswagen Touareg, and a Ford Transit minibus collided on Geroev Ukrainy Avenue in Mykolaiv.

This information was reported by a correspondent from "Novosti-N" at the scene.

The "Zhiguli" was traveling along the avenue from the direction of the Ternovsky ring towards the city center in the far right lane. Near the "Park Pobedy" bus stop, the vehicle suddenly and sharply changed its trajectory to the left, resulting in a collision with a "Volkswagen" that was moving in the left lane in the same direction.

Following this, the VAZ crossed into oncoming traffic, where it collided with the "Ford" minibus.

No injuries were reported as a result of the accident, but all vehicles sustained mechanical damage.

The driver of the "Zhiguli" was asked by the police to undergo a medical examination for alcohol or drug intoxication. The driver refused, leading to the issuance of a protocol under Article 130 of the Administrative Code of Ukraine.

Due to the accident, traffic on the avenue towards the Ternovsky ring is congested.
