In Mykolaiv, there will no longer be a pedestrian crossing at the intersection of Sadova Street and Kropivnytskoho Street.
This information was reported by a correspondent from “Novosti-N”.
The pedestrian crossing in question is located just beyond the intersection of Sadova and Kropivnytskoho Streets, when driving towards Central Avenue. It is also situated before the intersection when driving towards Velyka Morska Street.
Currently, the pedestrian crossings are blocked off with metal fences, and the “Pedestrian Crossing” sign is being dismantled. It is noteworthy that at the former pedestrian crossing on Sadova Street and Kropivnytskoho, when heading towards Central Avenue, the fence only covers the pedestrian crossing area. As a result, pedestrians might not notice the barrier and may attempt to cross the road.
